Journal 6: My Creative Process In the process of getting my idea for my poster I first walked around my home trying to find inspiration. I feel the need to do that because before first starting my projects I need something to work with. At first I started with the idea of a collage of things to represent coming of age. But this didn't seem to quite work out when I tried it out. But as far as color choice I am a little iffy on adding color, or I just don't know how to incorporate it. So, I walked around my house and finally got inspiration from my sister's fish. I know it sounds weird but when I was looking at the fish I thought of the ocean and water, then when I thought of water I thought about a diver. After that I guess things just flowed from there.
I like the way you incorporated text into the shapes of the waves into which you must dive :) The diffferent fonts and sizes worked well together, without being distracting. And the shark was cool and appropriate near the phrase "cut throat." Your sister must have an interesting aquarium...hehe If you get this before you print, correct the spelling of "pressure" mrs s
